On a normal Thursday, the Source posts a curated list of upcoming events gathered from various places, including our own calendar of community events.
This is not a normal Thursday.
Many venues are postponing or cancelling previously listed events to comply with CDC guidelines. We are removing them, or updating them on our list, wherever we are notified to do so.
The upshot is we can’t say for sure at this point what is and is not still happening in a changing situation.
We don’t want to encourage people to leave their homes. However, if you see an event listed on our site or elsewhere and feel you must consider attending, contact the venue. A few are limiting attendance to less than 10 people to stay within the guidelines.
Also, some businesses and organizations are going online and offering virtual events, classes and so forth. In some cases, this could be an option for customers.
