The Takoma Junction property at 7221 Carroll Ave. that is home to Takoma Auto Clinic is being offered for sale.
The $1.6 million listing price includes the 1,500 square foot building and the lot, about .13 acres.
“Buyers can purchase the building vacant or, for an additional fee, with a turnkey auto repair business in place,” listing agent Hannah McCann of GoBrent Realty told the Source via email. “The current owner of the business is also the owner of the building, and he does not plan to remain as a tenant.”
The one-story structure, built in 1946, is next to a public parking lot that has been the focus of controversy for several years over proposals to redevelop that land.
