Takoma Park Police will be holding an Essentials Drive for the Montgomery County Animal Shelters starting next week.
From Monday, January 4 through Friday, January 29, 2021, Takoma Park Police will be collecting new/gently used bath towels, beach towels, bathroom rugs, hand towels, washcloths, and blankets to help the Montgomery County Animal Shelters. This year, police are also collecting beds, toys, and unopened food.
For the animals’ safety, police will not accept fitted sheets, items with zippers or snaps, and/or other fabrics with rips or frayed edges.
Donors can deliver donations to the Takoma Park Police Department lobby at 7500 Maple Ave. in Takoma Park.
