County Installing Protected Intersection

The Transportation Engineering Division of the county’s Department of Transportation is installing a protected intersection, the third in Montgomery County, at the corner of Fenton St. & Cameron St. in downtown Silver Spring.

Federal Face Mask Requirement on Public Transportation Remains in Place

The county’s Department of Transportation is reminding residents that while the county has lifted its mask mandate for most public indoor facilities, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requirement for face coverings on all public transportation remains in place until at least January 18, 2022, and pertains to all forms of public transportation in the county.

Second HAWK Beacon Installed on Fenton

Ride On Schedule Changes Take Effect Sunday

Changes to 64 Ride On bus routes will take effect this Sunday, October 10, county officials announced. 25 routes that have higher ridership will see increased trips, and service after midnight will be reinstated for all routes which operated those hours prior to the COVID-19 pandemic.
