As of Nov. 15, the Pennyworth Thrift Shop on Bonifant Street will no longer be open on weekdays, according to board member Grace Shirey.
Beginning tomorrow, Nov. 10, and for the three following Saturdays (Nov. 17, 24, and Dec. 1), everything in the shop except jewelry will be sold for one dollar, though coats will be priced at $4.
The shop will be open on Saturdays through Dec. 15, then close until the reopening at the new location, which Shirey said wouldn’t be until at least mid-April.
Pennyworth stopped accepting donations in September in anticipation of the move.
