The opening of the second Dunkin’ store in downtown Silver Spring has been rescheduled to Wednesday, July 2.
Situated on the ground floor of the Central Apartments building at 8455 Fenton Street and adjacent to Maryland Purple Line construction at the intersection of Fenton Street and Wayne Avenue, the new Dunkin’ location is listed as open on the chain’s website. However, their mobile app has since been updated to indicate that “this location does not offer mobile ordering.”
Luis Group Management partner Boris Lander Luis confirmed the new opening date via email this morning. The Silver Spring-based franchisee operates over 35 Dunkin’ locations in the region, including those in White Oak and Four Corners, as well as franchised locations of Arby’s, Baskin-Robbins, and Jersey Mike’s Subs.
In addition to the chain’s standard menu, the new store features a Dunkin’ On Tap system for dispensing select cold beverages, including nitro cold brew, iced coffees, and teas.
Once open, Dunkin’ will be open daily from 5 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
