The annual SchmoozaPalooza Business Expo and Networking Extravaganza will be open to the public for the first time this week at The Fillmore Silver Spring on Wednesday evening.
According to Stephanie Helsing, President and CEO of the Greater Silver Spring Chamber of Commerce, the organization’s new board is deeply committed to the community and seeks to create opportunities for a broader audience to engage with local businesses in Silver Spring.
“The SchmoozaPalooza is an annual networking extravaganza to celebrate the GSSCC’s birthday, 33 years this year! It is an opportunity for Chamber members, and this year, for non-Chamber members, to showcase their business or non-profit, if they are vendors, and a way to make connections in the greater Silver Spring area in a fun, dynamic, no-pressure environment in a cool location,” Helsing said.
“This year, we have more restaurants and a local Radio One DJ, DJ Reece, keeping the energy level up, as well as raffles and opportunities for attendees to win prizes,” Helsing added. “Every year, the Chamber hears that this is a favorite event and the MUST-attend event of the year.”
The 2025 SchmoozaPalooza will take place on Wednesday, April 30, from 6 to 8 p.m. at The Fillmore Silver Spring, located at 8656 Colesville Road in downtown Silver Spring. Tickets starting at $50 can be purchased online through Monday, April 28, at gsscc.org.
