Montgomery County Police say a woman was injured in a domestic assault Wednesday afternoon in downtown Silver Spring.
Police spokesperson Casandra Tressler Durham confirmed that officers from the Third District responded to the 8700 block of Cameron St. at approximately 2:59 p.m. Wednesday for the report of an assault. The officers were able to determine that there had been a domestic incident.
A female adult was evaluated at the scene for injuries but was not transported to a hospital, and no suspect is in custody at this time, Durham said.
