UPDATED: Police: 12-Year-Old Silver Spring Boy Missing Since Dec. 26

UPDATE: Montgomery County Police tweeted that Elmer Alexis Guzman Osorio has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the county’s Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID) are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 12-year-old boy from Silver Spring.

Elmer Alexis Guzman Osorio was last seen on December 26 at approximately 6 p.m., in the 1000 block of Quebec Ter., according to a news release from the MCPD. Osorio stands approximately five feet tall and weighs approximately 110 pounds. He has short brown hair and green eyes and was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, grey sweatpants, and black Crocs.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Elmer Alexis Guzman Osorio is asked to call the police non-emergency number at (301) 279-8000 (24-hour line) or the Special Victims Investigations Division at (240) 773-5400. Callers may remain anonymous.
