Flying V to Present “Flying V vs. Super Art Fight” at Silver Spring Black Box Theatre

Silver Spring performing arts nonprofit Flying V will present Flying V vs. Super Art Fight on Saturday, Dec. 3 at the Silver Spring Black Box Theatre in downtown Silver Spring.

The show, billed as “the greatest pro wrestling & live art competition supershow in the known universe,” will combine a Flying V Fights live wrestling show with Super Art Fight, a live-action performance where two or more artists battle against each other on a giant canvas:

Flying V has been saying for years that pro wrestling is an art form – this past summer Super Art Fight challenged us to put our pencils where our punches are (or something like that) and proposed the most epic of mash up shows. Flying V couldn’t say no obviously, and this unholy union was born.

Catch a full card of the Flying V wrestling you’ve come to know and love – lights, sounds, moonsaults, all of it. AND ALSO experience Super Art Fight: a live-action performance where two or more artists battle against each other on a giant canvas. With the help of two quipping hosts and the Wheel of Death. A face off of cutting-edge artists against each other in the art of creative combat, reacting to whims of the fans.

Punches and pastels! Bumps and brushes! Crosshooks and crayons! Fisticuffs and felt pens!

You haven’t seen a battle royale until you’ve seen Flying V vs. Super Art Fight.

Performers confirmed for the event include:

  • Baron Von Sexyful (Former Super Art Fight Champion, Former Super Art Fight Tag Team Champion)
  • DIETANIUM (Former Super Art Fight Champion, Former Super Art Fight Tag Team Champion)
  • World Famous CB (Appeared for Ring of Honor, New Japan Pro-Wrestling, All Elite Wrestling)
  • Evil Abby Jane (Appeared for All Elite Wrestling)

Earlier that day, Flying V will host a seminar with All Elite Wrestling referee Bryce Remsburg:

Learn the rules of the ring from All Elite Wrestling’s very own BRYCE REMSBURG! The performance of Professional Wrestling goes further than just the combatants. Non-Wrestling roles like Referees, Managers, Commentators, Ring Announcers and more are essential for the success, structure, and enjoyment of a Professional Wrestling show. Bryce Remsburg has been in the Wrestling industry for over 15 years, working both on and off camera with industry leaders such as Chris Jericho, The Young Bucks, Eddie Kingston, and Orange Cassidy.

Tickets for Flying V vs. Super Art Fight are $30 ($40 for the seminar), and are available through Flying V’s website.
