Police Seek Missing Silver Spring Man with Dementia (Update: Located)

Montgomery County Police tweeted last night that Eugene Rodgers has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives with the county police are looking for a missing Silver Spring man who suffers from dementia and are asking for the public’s help.

Eugene Rodgers, 66, was last seen around 4 p.m. on Thursday, June 17 as he walked away from his Fenwick Lane home.

“At that time, Rodgers stated to friends that he was running an errand to a nearby store and that he would return soon,” according to a department press release. “Friends and family have been unable to contact him since he left his home.” 

Rodgers is about 5’ 6” tall and weighs 130 pounds, bald and has brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information regarding Eugene Rodgers’ whereabouts should call 9-1-1.
