The Regal Majestic & IMAX cinema will reopen Friday, May 21, according to social media posts from Downtown Silver Spring.
The theaters will operate at 50% capacity and the concession stands will be open, according to the posts.
The only movie currently showing on the Friday schedule for the Regal Majestic is Fast Friday–Fast & Furious at 7 p.m.
Regal shut down all of its U.S. locations on October 8 of last year, as upcoming movie releases were being postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
The multiplex is located at 900 Ellsworth Dr. on the second level.
