Food Hall to Open at Ellsworth Place
Ellsworth Place owner GBT Realty Corporation and Cana Development today announced that Commas, a new food hall, will take over a portion of the second level of Ellsworth Place in downtown Silver Spring. The food hall is slated to open in the spring of 2022.

Popeyes Hiring Ahead of Anticipated Opening
Popeyes is now hiring for its upcoming location at 8401 Georgia Ave. in downtown Silver Spring, according to signage posted at the storefront. Construction has been underway for several months to convert the space formerly occupied by Bombay Gaylord, but they are looking to wrap up construction and be open within the next two weeks, an on-site worker said today.
