Takoma Park Arts Online Poetry Reading - Please join us for the next online poetry reading in the Takoma Park Arts cultural series where four local poets will read their work on a diverse range of themes. The poets include Catherine Allen, Jamie Ferrugia, Virginia Hartman, and Gary Stein. The reading premieres at 7:30 pm on May 28 on YouTube or you can watch it later.

    Allen is a retired anthropologist whose poetry often focuses on her extensive field work in the Andes mountains of Peru. Ferrrugia, a retired financial advisor, has had his poetry and music published in various publications.

    Hartman was a 2019 Pushcart Prize nominee whose poetry has appeared in Hudson Review, Potomac Review, and other publications. Stein’s book, Touring the Shadow Factory, won the Brick Road Poetry Press contest.
