Silver Spring-Takoma Thunderbolts Baseball Game
July 26 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm$6
This is a baseball game between the Silver Spring-Takoma Thunderbolts and the Alexandria Aces. It is the second game of the best of three semi-final round of the 2021 League Championship Series in the Cal Ripken Collegiate Baseball League. The Ripken League, in addition to the T-Bolts and Aces, is comprised of the Bethesda Big Train, the DC Grays, the Gaithersburg Giants, and the South County Braves (who play in Fairfax County, Virginia). The T-Bolts recruit college players locally and nationally, with out of town players staying with host families in Silver Spring and Takoma Park.
Our games are played at the Baseball Stadium at Blair High School, 51 East University Blvd. in the Four Corners Area. Admission is $6 for adults, $2 for kids 5-17, and free admission for kids under 5 or kids wearing their baseball or softball uniforms. At each game we have kids races, music between innings, concessions, a trivia contest, a raffle, and great college baseball. There is plenty of free parking in the Blair High School parking lot next to the baseball stadium.
More information about the team can be found at www.tbolts.org.
