*ONLINE* Comics & Cartooning II for Teens

An event every week that begins at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, repeating until March 2, 2021

Do you love to create characters and worlds? Would you like to bring them to life? Through techniques used in comics and cartooning, learn how to use your ideas to build your story even further. Guided by comics artist Shelby Kelley, learn how to form your characters and fully develop them using elements of design. Flesh out your characters as you dive into a universe of your own creation! Become a master of visual storytelling in this class designed especially for comic book and cartoon enthusiasts! Class meets for 8 sessions.
Materials:
An original idea for a character, story, design, or world that you would like to flesh out or focus on, it can be as simple as a name or as complex as a written plot (this is not an idea you have to stick with but it will make it easier to jump right into the lessons!).
Sketchbook/Paper
Pencil
colored pencils
Fineliner pens/inking pens (optional)
Favored medium (watercolor, marker, crayons, etc.)
Notebook/lined paper for note taking
