Raising kids is far more challenging in the 21st century given how the world has changed since 9/11. Anxiety has risen to epidemic proportions among students and parents. Mindfulness practices have been proven to help folks move from a position of reactivity to one of more thoughtful responsiveness. These four Monday night sessions in October are based on the Mindfulness Curriculum taught to all Nora students as a way of helping them deal with the stresses of adolescence in healthy and productive ways.
