Native American Culture: A Week of Celebration from FSGW

March 7 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 7:00 pm, repeating indefinitely

Free
  • Explore Native American musical, artistic and storytelling traditions with FSGW. We begin with Native America: A Musical Journey, a concert by groundbreaking Native American musicians on Sunday, March 7. Then, learn how to craft beautiful jewelry in our Orpheus Workshop, Native American Bone Jewelry with Tyrone Ellis, on Monday, March 8. Round off the week with Native American storytelling by two masters of the art in our Grapevine Storytelling Session on Wednesday, March 10. Taken as a whole, these three programs offer a richer, more holistic look at Native American cultures than any one event alone could provide.
