Montgomery Parks Speaker Series: "The Case for Open Space"

Montgomery Parks continues its Speaker Series on March 15, 2019, with Ed McMahon, Senior Resident Fellow at the Urban Land Institute presenting “The Case For Open Space”.

McMahon will share insight into the economic, social and environmental impacts of parks and open space. Learn how parks increase long-term real estate value, but also how some of this value can be captured to mitigate the impacts of commercial and residential gentrification. The session will also examine trail-oriented development and the impacts of active transportation and micro mobility.

Register by March 12 to reserve a complimentary boxed lunch.

Location: Montgomery Regional Office Building Auditorium
