Join Walter Reed National Military Medical Center physicians to learn about different modalities of pain treatment. Dr. Christopher Spevak, MAJ Sherrell Lam, and LTC Mae Miranda will discuss the evolution of pain treatment from a biomedical model to a biopsychosocial model and the shift away from opioids. They’ll also explore behavioral treatment of comorbidities including PTSD, anxiety and depression, as well as physical modalities of treatment. This even is free and open to the public!
