It’s a Sensory Rich World! Let’s Get Out and Play!
December 16, 2020 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pmFree
Join us as we explore the importance of sensory play to promote healthy development for every child! The seven senses will be discussed and a wide variety of sensory play experiences in each domain will be given to help parent and teachers build their sensory play toy box so that all children can thrive in the world around them. We will send a Zoom link to registrants the day of the event.
Participants will be able to:
Explain how lack of play is impacting child development in children today
Discuss how play provides children with a fun, protective way to learn how to engage in the world
Create playful indoor and outdoor environments and activities to help children develop gross and fine motor skills
Provide children with sensory rich play experiences to support development
Create playful environments that support all children in their care to help children learn more about their world
Design and implement activities and strategies to help meet the needs of all children in their care
