Conversation with Judith Warner
November 16, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pmFree
For more than a decade, DC writer Judith Warner has chronicled the politics of everyday life in her books, New York Times columns, and research for the Center for American Progress. Now, the author of the 2005 best seller Perfect Madness: Motherhood in the Age of Anxiety and the 2010 award-winning We’ve Got Issues: Children and Parents in the Age of Medication will join longtime NPR journalist Kitty Eisele to talk about the American culture of motherhood (and fatherhood), kids’ mental health, and the anxieties of family life today.
A book signing will follow and coffee will be served, courtesy of our generous friends at Kefa Café. Sponsored by Silver Spring Library Advisory Committee, Friends of the Library Silver Spring, and Montgomery County Public Libraries.
