Comedy as a Second Language at Temple Shalom

November 16 @ 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm

$20 – $35
Comedy as a Second Language at Temple Shalom

Comedy as a Second Language brings the hilarious stand-up comedy of immigrant and 1st generation performers. We have an amazing line-up of performers: Simone, Yasmin Elhady and Christian Escoto. This show of hilarious immigrant/1st generation comics will have your sides splitting with laughter and your cheeks aching from smiling. Laugh with them as they share stories of their upbringing, getting used to a new country, coping with immigrant parenting differences, being bilingual (or not!) and more. Curious about the show? Check out an article in the DCist or see video clips from previous shows.

This show is presented by Improbable Comedy as part of Temple Shalom’s 60th anniversary celebration. This event is open to the public, but tickets must be purchased to attend. The comedy content will be clean, but the comedy is intended for adults. For that reason, we recommend ages 16+.
