Adult Education Evening: Healthy Food Choices for the Whole Family

In this insightful and interactive discussion, parents will learn a variety of ways to engage their children and family in meal planning, cooking and the complexities of different dietary needs in same households. Julie will give realistic ideas and some hard-core nutritional facts of how to implement the “Five Pillars of Health”, into our every day lives. Please join us. Suggested donation $10.
This workshop is facilitated by Julie Wendt, Acorn Hill alumni parent. She holds a B.S. in Resource Economics from Cornell University and a Masters of Science in Integrative Health and Nutrition from Maryland University of Integrative Health. She is a Licensed Dietician Nutritionist (LDN) in Maryland, a Licensed Nutritionist (LN) in D.C., and a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS).
