Outdoor film festival opens tomorrow in Silver Spring

The Silver Screens outdoor film festival begins tomorrow evening with a showing of “Back to the Future Part II” on Veterans Plaza in downtown Silver Spring. This is the second year for the series, which is sponsored by the American Film Institute Silver Theatre and Cultural Center. Tomorrow’s film was released in 1989 and stars Michael J. USA Women’s Rugby gets Silver Spring send off to World Cup

The 28-member USA Rugby Women’s Team visited Scion Restaurant in Silver Spring for a dinner and fundraiser before heading to Ireland for the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2017.
