Outdoor film festival opens tomorrow in Silver Spring

The Silver Screens outdoor film festival begins tomorrow evening with a showing of “Back to the Future Part II” on Veterans Plaza in downtown Silver Spring. This is the second year for the series, which is sponsored by the American Film Institute Silver Theatre and Cultural Center. Tomorrow’s film was released in 1989 and stars Michael J. Summer concert series schedule released

The free series opens this Thursday, June 15 on Veterans’ Plaza and will feature performances every Thursday evening through August 3.
