Thanksgiving Parade entertains thousands

On a chilly Saturday, 145 units entertained thousands of attendees as they walked, marched, strutted, danced, drove and rode through downtown Silver Spring for the 20th Annual Montgomery County Thanksgiving Parade. County’s Thanksgiving Parade marks 20th anniversary Saturday

Photo from 2016 parade by Mike Diegel. The Montgomery County Thanksgiving Parade will mark its 20th anniversary when more than 100 participating units step off in downtown Silver Spring Saturday. The parade, which will once again be televised live on NewsChannel 8 and be emceed by ABC7 Meteorologist Brian Van de Graaff and ABC7 traffic reporter Julie Wright, will begin at 10 a.m. and end at noon.
