County launches “Renters Have Rights” campaign to assist tenants

County seeks internet access data to help improve service

In an effort to learn more about internet access for residents and businesses, Montgomery County has launched a web-based survey to collect information about quality, speed and costs. Checkspeedmontgomery.com is a short survey individuals can take to test internet speed. The Montgomery County Police Department and Department of Liquor Control, in partnership with Dryver and Lyft, this week unveiled the “I Take It Personally” campaign. The campaign is an effort to combat drunk driving and encourage residents not to over-consumer alcohol. Nominations sought for county’s arts and humanities awards

County Executive Isaiah Leggett has issued his call for nominations for 2017 County Executive’s Awards for Excellence in the Arts and Humanities.
