Postal service confirms move to temporary space in library

Photo from Wikimedia Commons The U.S. Postal Service has confirmed that the post office located in the Spring Center on 16th St. will move its operations to the Silver Spring Library at 900 Wayne Ave. The post office is the only business left in the center, which is shut down for construction of the Purple Line light rail. “The Postal Service is finalizing plans to move to a temporary location due to the Metropolitan Transit Authorities’ request to vacate our existing facility,” said a USPS spokesperson in an email to the Source. “We will temporary relocate at the library...
