Silver Branch Brewing Company recently shared updates on its progress with locally-produced beer podcast Brew Daddies.

Silver Branch Brewing Company (formerly Parallel World Brewing Company) shared updates on its progress toward opening with Brew Daddies, a locally-produced podcast about beer and breweries.

Following up from their first episode in April, host Richard Fawal writes:

If you’ve ever thought about opening a brewery, listen up! Richard returns to Silver Branch Brewery to talk to Christian Layke and Brett Robison as they prepare to begin the build-out of their brewing facility and taproom in Silver Spring.

Christian and Brett talk about the anxieties and thrills as they enter the final stage before opening, and explain their priorities for being a community gathering place. You can be a part of the start by joining their Founder’s Club, with premiums, discounts, and special invitations for up to five years!

We’ll be checking in with Silver Branch regularly to get updates on their progress but you can find them now at

They recently signed a lease for 10,000 square feet of space in the Metro Plaza development at 8401 Colesville Road for a production brewery, taproom, and outdoor biergarten. They plan to open in the Fall of this year and have already been releasing collaborations with other breweries.

Brew Daddies is produced by Washington, DC-based Junto Media, who also produces Dame It All To Hell and No Crying In Baseball.
